Volunteer Spotlight: Sabrina Fritz
Sabrina became a CASA volunteer in 2017 following her retirement. Since then, Sabrina has overseen 8 CHINS cases and advocated for a total of 15 children. Sabrina has taken cases in Steuben, Noble, Whitley, and DeKalb counties. Sabrina thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful staff members and students she worked with over the years. Sabrina stated that becoming a CASA volunteer seemed like a natural transition after retirement. It has kept her connected with children who need an advocate at a critical time in their lives. Sabrina has severed as a volunteer for a little over four years and looks forward to continuing her role for years to come.
Sabrina has been blessed with two daughters and four grandchildren. Her free time is often spent with family and friends. Sabrina is also an avid reader, so she never has issues entertaining herself. Sabrina states in her retirement, she has tried learning to crochet, but would still classify herself as a beginner. Travel is also something that she enjoys when she has the opportunity.
Thank you, Sabrina, for all you do!
