UPDATE: Originally our annual event was slated to take place April 24th. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the mandate of so many closures, we have rescheduled this event. Now CASA Palooza will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10th at 6:00 p.m. at Sylvan Cellars in Rome City. Stay tuned for the announcement of when you can begin purchasing your tickets!

This year’s event is themed, “Denim & Diamonds.” Plan to come dressed up or dressed down - whether it be denim, diamonds or a mix of both!

This year’s event will feature live entertainment, live and silent auctions, tasting stations and more! Proceeds from the event will benefit Northeastern Indiana CASA.

Last year, with the support and help of generous community members, sponsors, volunteers and business, we raised more than $37,000! Thank you to all who played a part in making this another great year for CASA!

ALBION -- Northeastern Indiana CASA announced its event details for the nonprofit’s annual fundraiser. CASA Palooza is slated for Friday, April 24th at 6 p.m. and will be held at Sylvan Cellars Event Center in Rome City.

Caterers, restaurants, and other eateries will come together to provide tasting stations. While wine and other adult beverages will be available. Crowds will taste and sip their way through the night, alongside a host of silent auction items. The evening will also feature a live auction and live entertainment.

“This evening is a chance to stand with us and help us be the voice children need,” said Northeastern Indiana CASA Executive Director Kirby Cool. “CASA Palooza is our only annual fundraising event.”

Northeastern Indiana CASA provides court-appointed advocates for children involved in judicial proceedings. Community members from DeKalb, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben and Whitley counties volunteer their time to be an advocate, working with children to be a voice for them and their best interests in the courtroom.

Event coordinators have deemed the night’s theme as “Denim and Diamonds,” with the idea that attendees can come dressed up or dressed down.

Funds raised from the event will be used to provide training for volunteers and staff as well as supply the day-to-day operations with funding necessary to carry out the nonprofit’s mission.

Tickets will go on sale April 1st, but event coordinators are inviting those who might want to attend to save the date. More details about the event can be found at www.neincasas.net.
