New volunteer opportunity offer more chances to get involved

October 1, 2019

Do you love planning events? Do you enjoy coordinating details? Do you thrive in making lists and checking off the to-dos?

Northeastern Indiana CASA is looking for individuals who would love to give back to the community by serving on our event committee. This group of volunteers will focus on leading and executing annual events that benefit our nonprofit, as well as coordinate with community groups that might be interested in raising funds and awareness for CASA.

Committee members would help organize volunteers for events, coordinate silent auction items, oversee registration and ticket sales, and work with our board of directors to carry out specific instructions and needs for events hosted by Northeastern Indiana CASA. Additionally, as community-minded groups look for nonprofits to support and give back to, this committee could work as a valuable liaison to allow for a smooth fundraising and awareness process between the community members and CASA. Since fundraising and awareness is always a vital part of our mission, this committee would also work on new ideas to help spread the word about our mission to advocate for children in our area. Currently Northeastern Indiana CASA represents five counties – DeKalb, Noble, Lagrange, Whitley, and Steuben. If you live in one of these counties, and are interested in giving back through serving on this committee, please contact kcool@neincasa.net.
